St. Joseph's Academy is an all-girls Catholic high school in Baton Rouge, LA. Our mission is to educate young women as responsible and unifying members of the world community. In the spirit and charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph, St. Joseph's Academy offers opportunities for faith development in the Catholic tradition, academic excellence and personal growth. St. Joseph's Academy seeks a teacher to teach the Latin language, literature and culture to high school students. This educator must work in collaboration to foster students’ language proficiency and appreciation for classical studies. The ideal candidate must be willing to assist with Latin Club and events.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Latin, Classics or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
