Responsible for aggressively recruiting committed, top quality, high energy, staff in the healthcare industry, including both exempt and non-exempt employees. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in the development of proactive, effective recruiting plans as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent to ensure longevity and quality outcomes for our patients.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or related Human Resources background
  • Twos years of direct recruitment experience in the field
  • Familiar with all variety of recruitment practices
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to independently manage priorities and workflow.

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Healthcare Recruiter aspect of recruitment including:

  • Responsible for Full Cycle recruitment of healthcare professionals
  • Regularly reports to Head of HR with weekly progress updates 
  • Regularly partners with hiring manager to anticipate and plan for provider staffing needs in advance of required start date.
  • Sources candidates through cold calling, search engines, referrals, networking, career fairs, and other avenues.
  • Makes recommendations regarding recruitment programs, budgets, and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.
  • Follow-up with applicants regarding their applicant status.
  • Post job requisitions following approved budgets to both internal and external websites.
  • Screen applicants as well as conduct phone and in-person interviews to ensure applicants meet licensing, certification, education and experience requirements.
  • Creates and sends internal status change letters to employees.
  • Manages relationships with external agencies and vendors who advertise and promote targeted jobs.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with colleges, agencies, and other sources of high-quality candidates.
  • Establish an effective talent acquisition strategy to build a world class team.
  • Other duties may be assigned, as required.
