Procurement/Distribution Clerk - SUMMARY OF PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION: Compiles information, records requisitions, places and prints orders, and stocks various equipment, materials, tools, commodities or other products. Receives, stores and issues same. Creates and distributes usage reports on designated items. REQUIREMENTS: Sufficient experience and education to provide the required knowledge, skills, abilities and to perform the essential duties of position. A typical way of obtaining the required qualifications is to possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid Louisiana driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the Parish’s Risk Manager. OTHER: Basic computer skills to work proficiently in Munis system, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; must be able to operate a forklift; strong customer service skills required. PAY CLASSIFICATION: Grade 6. STARTING PAY RANGE: $17.01/hour - $19.51/hour DOE.
