St. John Paul II School is Hiring a Communications Coordinator Near Hyannis, MA

Purpose StatementThe Communications Coordinator is responsible for creating and administering content for school-wide marketing. This position supports and manages the school's overall external communication function.
Accountability
  • Appointed by the Head of School
  • Reports to the Advancement Director
Digital Media
  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy
  • Create, manage, and update website content
  • Manage digital reviews, including outreach
  • Assess the success of social media campaigns
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Assist school personnel in social media activities as needed
Marketing and Design
  • Design marketing ads and fundraising materials
  • Design graphics for all communication platforms
  • Design and update major presentations, documents, and programs (JPII Magazine/Annual Report, Blue & Gold Weekly News, etc.)
  • Capture and organize photographs and videos of the full range of school life (e.g., religious activities, athletics, student life, academic classes, Advancement events, etc.)
  • Maintain Google Drive of photographs/archives
  • Organize and oversee video content creation and editing
  • Monitor design and style protocols; safeguard the visual integrity of the school's graphic identity
Requirements
  • Possess a solid understanding of effective marketing techniques
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Experience in executing traditional and digital media marketing.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Willingness to work collaboratively
  • Familiarity with Canva, WordPress, Adobe, Google Analytics, and common social media platforms
