Job Title: Bookkeeper/Accountant
Reports to: Business Manager

Summary:
This position supports the Business Manager of the regarding all finance-related issues.
Responsibilities:
  • Enters all approved invoices and process all payments on a timely basis
  • Maintains relationship with vendors and follows up with questions
  • Acquire receipts, enter transactions and reconcile accounts for all credit card accounts including, but not limited to, VISA, Home Depot, Sunshine Ace and Amazon.
  • Ensures all vendor W-9's are received and up to date.
  • Maintains certificates of insurance for vendors and contractors
  • Maintains PO system; ensures PO's are completed and approved. Maintains numerical sequence.
  • Interacts with Diocesan Human Resources Department and Internal Finance Department; attends all meetings as requested
  • Supports the Business Manager/Principal regarding the school budget
  • Maintain filing systems both hard copy and electronic
  • Maintain any records or lists required by the school
  • Enters all Lucky 7 raffle tickets in Little Green Light
  • Maintains parent volunteer hours excel spreadsheets
  • Supports with school events
  • Maintains the student athletic fees
  • Maintains the sports booster banner sponsorships fees
  • Manages all sports and parking passes fees
  • Prepares deposits for any and all raffle tickets and sports related fees
  • Assists with Guardian Angel scholarship tasks as needed
  • Any other duties as assignedby the Business Manager
Requirements:
  • AA or BS Degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite
  • In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Excellent communications skills both written and oral
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • High level of confidentiality
  • Must pass Diocesan QuickBooks Test
  • Knowledge of Little Green Light software
  • Knowledge of FACTS SIS system
  • Main Office Administrative Support
