St. Regis Academy Job Description 

The Finance Coordinator is responsible for the administration of the financial affairs of the Academy.  This hourly position is approximately two days a week but may increase in hours for seasonal reporting. This individual manages the preparation of financial reports and statements and reports directly to the Academy Principal.  

The ideal candidate would have experience in accounting and strategic planning. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent. 

Requirements

 

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage title budgets and spending according to a mutually developed plan for spending between the Academy and Local Education Agencies (LEA). 
  • Manage Free and Reduced Price Lunch Program and associated reports. 
  • Tuition and fee collections.
  • Monitor tuition payment plans and pursue collections for accounts in arrears. 
  • Work with individuals to manage and maintain specific budgets. 
  • Provide monthly reports of collection efforts and current balances.

Qualifications

Candidates for faculty positions at St. Regis Academy must:

  • Exemplify and articulate a life of faith in Christ.
  • Be in agreement with the philosophy of St. Regis Academy as articulated in the Vision Statement.
  • Profound experience of using forecasting and data analytics methods 
  • Excellent analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to details. 
  • Possess familiarity with best practices and regulations in accounting.
  • Be willing to cooperate with and support the policies of the school administration (pastor and principal)
  • Be committed to continuing, lifelong learning.
  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent.
