St. John Christian Childcare is Hiring a Childcare Teacher Near Vancouver, WA

Our Christian childcare center is seeking a full time lead teacher. The position is for a rotating teacher who would work in four of our classrooms. Four of our lead teachers work 4 ten hour shifts with a weekday off. This teacher would fill in while each teacher had their day off. You would be working in our young toddler classroom, toddler classroom, preschool 1 classroom, and preschool 2 classroom. All of our classes are one-teacher ratios which means we would never have more than 6 students in our toddler classrooms, and we would never have more than 10 students in our preschool classrooms.

You will be responsible for snack prep, teaching lessons, student safety, communicating with parents, guiding children in their development, and diaper changes. We are an Early Achievers Childcare Center. This rotating teacher position offers the ideal candidate the opportunity of working with a variety of age groups. Lesson planning is not required as the lead teachers already complete this task.

Registered in Merit with a valid Stars number
Initial 30hr training requirement met in Merit
