About the Role:

This position reports to the Manager - SAP Core Business Data and is responsible for working with Nestlé groups including Regional Business Solutions, Data and Analytics and Nestlé Purina business departments to identify, maintain and enhance reporting and analysis solutions from a functional and technical standpoint. As a Business Intelligence Analysts in this role will have extensive in-depth experience related to SAP Business Warehouse, Business Objects, and Microsoft Reporting technologies. The incumbent must take end user requirements identified by business partners, and recommend and implement solutions providing timely reporting, analysis, and visualizations. The incumbent must also provide guidance for cross-functional requests – including best practices and strategies to maximize the delivery capabilities for the entire team. In addition, the incumbent guides activities related to production support and training, as required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Gather and document requirements from end-users, perform analysis, and assist in the design, testing and implementation of new/changed functionality for SAP Business Warehouse (BW), SAP Business Objects (BO), and Microsoft Azure/PowerBI reporting and Office 365 technology across Nestlé Purina business functional areas.

Facilitate meetings with business departments, IT resources, key stakeholders and third-party vendors as needed to gather requirements, resolve issues, determine solutions, and identify continuous improvements. Conduct one-on-one interviews, brainstorming sessions, group work sessions, when necessary. Demonstrate this skill through sustained work on medium to high complexity projects with limited supervision.

• Influence and propose approaches and methodologies to properly align work with functional business processes

• Analyze data and processes in order to recommend and implement reporting solutions that support Nestlé Purina business functions

• Create solutions using SAP Business Warehouse, Business Objects, and Microsoft technologies

• Create tickets, development requests and other documents required by Nestle Information Technology to request work from the Regional Business Solutions group

• Provide end-user support and maintenance for all reporting activities using SAP Business Objects, BW, and Microsoft reporting technologies

Develop best practices and strategies for efficient deployment and support of solutions – to include cross-functional solutions.

• Performance knowledge transfer and documentation to help drive best practices and efficient operations and ensure the Reporting Services team is working at peak efficiency.

• Provides guidance and direction as a second level in support of other Business Intelligence Analysts

Create and Present status to IS/IT Management and Key Stakeholders

• Communicate all issues, risks, concerns and status to senior management, business partners and other IS departments in a timely manner.

Possess Consumer Goods industry knowledge across a diversity of business areas: (Customer Service, Finance, Sales & Marketing, and/or Supply Chain)
