St. Ives is Hiring a Maintenance Director Near Johns Creek, GA

POSTION SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to oversee and maintain the repair and maintenance in regards to electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, equipment and general preventive maintenance of the building structure in accordance to facility policies, State and Federal guidelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree or higher in related field with at least 2 years of experience of Maintenance Supervision/Management
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Possess excellent verbal and written skills
  • Must be certified in Electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Experience in budget planning, costs/expense reports

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Possess leadership, communication and problem solving skills
  • Conduct routine inspections of facility and grounds
  • Maintain organized maintenance logs/records
  • Comply with all corporate policies/OSHA
  • Ensure the proper working condition of all electrical units and other systems in the facility
  • Possess excellent time management skills
  • Determine the cost effectiveness of current operations/procedures and look for ways to reduce costs
  • Operate department within budget guidelines
  • Identify safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate corrective actions
  • Maintain inventory/accountability of maintenance supplies
  • Keep staff educated on current regulations/procedures
  • Schedule staff appropriately
  • Prioritize and delegate job assignments daily
  • Schedule monthly, annual and other time sensitive inspections with outside vendors
  • Contract necessary projects with licensed and insured contractors
  • Room turnovers to be completed within 24-48 hours
