General Purpose
Under the direct supervision of the shift L.P.N. and indirect supervision of the Assistant Director of Health Services, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides care and assistance to the residents of Wellington Court at St George Village with activities of daily living including dressing, grooming, hygiene, bathing, mobility, meals, activities and ongoing monitoring of resident's status and abilities. Communicates with co-care partners and supervisors.

Essential Duties:
Education And Experience
Reasoning Ability
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : Level 3: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Level 2: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short
correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to
effectively present information in on and one and small group situations to
customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skill
Level 2: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure,
using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate,
ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Level 2: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but
involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a
few concrete variables in standardized situations
Certificate, Licenses, Registrations
Must have a current Georgia CNA License and at least one year of related
experience. Current CPR and First Aid training Required
Additional Information
The work week can be up to 40 hours per week on a year-round basis; however, the position requires a willingness and flexibility in work hours when necessary to fulfill job responsibilities. Employee is subject to Personnel Policies and procedures prescribed for all personnel.
