Job Title: Events Coordinator

Reports to: Business Manager

Location: St. Peter the Apostle Church | Naples FL

Overview

In keeping with the parish mission statement, the Events Coordinator reaches out to all cultures within the parish and the community. Markets, schedules, and oversees all events occurring within the Spirit Center on the campus of St. Peter the Apostle parish. The Events Coordinator works cooperatively with parish priests, staff, volunteer organizational leaders, event leaders and the community to offer an environment that is in keeping with the group’s expectation as specified in the event agreement.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the overall functions of events at the Spirit center including developing a marketing plan that supports the overall financial goals of the Center.
• Follows up on leads for potential bookings in the Spirit Center.
• Develops relationships and agreements with potential vendors for events held in the Spirit Center, such as florists, catering, musicians.
• Develops a client satisfaction survey and disseminates to each client after their event. Survey results are shared with direct supervisor.
• Books all events in the Spirit Center and maintains the calendar of booked events in the Center.
• Works closely with the property maintenance team to see that the Center, kitchen, and restrooms are clean and properly stocked at all times.
• Clearly communicates with the maintenance team to see that meeting space is set up in accordance with the event agreement both pre-event and post-event.
• Issues event agreements and assures proper insurance for each event.
• Works with the Diocesan Risk Manager regarding all contract approvals for any Event.
• Meets and exceeds financial goals established for the Spirit Center
• Performs other related duties as requested by supervisor
