St. Francis Center, a long-term care facility located in Delaware County, is hiring a FT Maintenance Technician. Our team of seasoned staff work together to offer excellent service and care for our residents. Working under the direction of the Maintenance Director, the Maintenance Technician will play a key role in maintaining the upkeep and safety of the facility.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Assures that facility grounds are clean and safe at all times
• Transports tools, equipment and supplies as needed
• Lifts heavy merchandise and equipment as needed
• Makes minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, electrical equipment, sprinkling systems, generators, lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers
• Performs routine maintenance including plumbing, plastering, electrical, painting and carpentry
• Assumes responsibilities of the Maintenance Director in his/her absence
• Ensures that the residents receive the highest level of care and safety in regards to maintenance and cleanliness
• Performs other related job duties as required

• High School Degree or Equivalent
• 3 years’ maintenance experience in a hospital, long-term care or other related healthcare facility
