• Spot checking parts inventory (bins/floor)
• Verifying parts inventory counts in bins – if count does not match inventory re-count if count remains “off” report discrepancies
• Send email to Fab Shop for parts needed or if inventory (parts from Fab) is low
• Request /pick up parts from warehouse when needed
• Performing transfers in Epicor when receiving parts into production line inventory
• Change laser part counts when needed (change quantity – up number of parts for production line’s inventory)
• Must be able to pull drawings (on computer) if someone needs to review them
• Processing Kanban receipts
• Place parts on the pick list and hot list when needed
• Review production schedule and shortage reports to assure parts are on order with suppliers (Expedite if necessary)
• Practice 5s on the line
• Must be willing to take charge in the parts area to find out the reasons for being behind, (1 - a Kanban card not turned in 2 - a BOM issue 3- Too many parts on hand to drive the demand to create a job for parts)

Requirements

• Inventory experience
• Cycle counting experience a plus
• Knowledge of warehouse/inventory software (Epicor a plus)
• Ability to process Kanban receipts
• 5s
• Computer knowledge (MS Office Suite)
