Duties/Responsibilities
- Evaluates patients referred for services using independent, professional judgement to determine the appropriate plan of care based upon the patient’s disability, age and psychosocial needs.
- Develops and implements effective treatment program; treats patients in accordance with professional standards of care and practice based upon the patient’s disability, age and psychosocial needs.
- Provides patient/family/caregiver education based upon the patient’s disability, age and psychosocial needs.
- Prepares professional documentation in a timely manner.
- Exhibits professional communication and management skills.
- Supervises and instructs physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation.
ExperienceOne or more years of clinical experience is preferred.
Licensure/CertificationLicensed in Kentucky for Physical Therapy. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk and be on feet for long periods of time. Must be able to tolerate PPE for long periods of time.
