St. Clair Hospital is Hiring a Pharmacy Technician #6787 Near Pittsburgh, PA
While performing duties related to St. Clair Hospital or the Mt. Lebanon Surgical Center of St. Clair Hospital, this position is responsible for assisting pharmacist(s) in preparing and distributing medications and maintaining patient records. Works under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Minimum Qualifications
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Completion of pharmacy technician training program and/or pharmacy technician certification and/or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience, or at least two years of a pharmacy college or an accredited program leading to transfer into the third year of a pharmacy college.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Fundamental understanding of personal computers, keyboarding skills, and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
2. At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in a hospital or home infusion pharmacy.
3. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
