St. Bartholomew Catholic Church is Hiring a Business Administrator Near Wayzata, MN

Business Administrator

The Parish Administrator is responsible for and given the necessary authority to conduct the business affairs of the parish in the areas of personnel, finance, and physical resources. This is to be done in a professional, ethical, efficient, and organized manner so as to relieve the Pastor of as much administrative detail as possible.

This position’s responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the Pastor to develop and execute strategies that support the parish vision and mission. Advise the Pastor on business and administrative matters.
  • Direct and manage operational policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the preparation of the annual budget.
  • Manage the human resources for parish and school employees.
  • Collaborate with key leaders on parish communications both internally and externally.
  • Supervise the maintenance of all buildings and grounds.
  • Work directly with Councils, commissions and committees as needed.

  • Interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of staff
  • Understanding of financial and budgeting processes and accounting principles
  • Strong personal and professional judgment
  • Adaptability to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends
  • Able to insure confidentiality in all areas

Qualifications

  • Five years or more experience in business administration of a church or non-profit organization desired.
  • Degree in business, finance, accounting, human resources or other related field; Master’s in Business Administration preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and proficient with using computers.
  • Be able to successfully complete an Archdiocesan background check.
