Part time Administrative Assistant Bookkeeper

Well established church seeks part time administrative assistant and bookkeeper to work with church leadership and parishioners to help the church run smoothly. Four hours daily, four days a week and pay depends on experience and skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones
• Prepare weekly church bulletin
• Prepare monthly newsletter
• Maintain all office supplies
• Take care of all parishioners needs
• Bookkeeping using QuickBooks Nonprofit including:
• Accounts receivable
• Accounts payable
• Payroll - direct deposit and checks, payroll taxes
• Bank reconciliations
• Monthly customer drafts
• Quarterly payroll taxes
• Quarterly customer statements
• Prepare financial reports for treasurer monthly
• End of year W-2's and 1099's
• Enter budget

Requirements

• Experience with QuickBooks preferred
• Some accounting experience required
• Experience with Word and Excel required
• Must work well with others and have a pleasant demeanor.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
