St. Anthony School of M is Hiring a Summer School 5th Grade Teacher Near Milwaukee, WI
St. Anthony School is currently seeking a part-time 5th Grade Summer School Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.
The Summer School Teacher serves as the educational leader for students and is responsible for organizing and supervising assigned classes for optimum level of learning.
Summer School Runs: June 17-July 16 * Off July 3rd-July 5th
Teacher Day: 7:30 am-12:45 pm
Student Day: 7:45am-12:30pm
$30 per hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to develop and deliver engaging activities for students
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Use of a variety of instructional methods
Willingness and flexibility to accept assigned tasks
Ability to work with other staff
Ability to operate computers and office machines
Abides by the regulations in the handbook, Archdiocesan policy, and St. Anthony School faculty administration.
Attends all faculty and committee meetings, unless excuse has been obtained from the principal.
Assists students, fellow staff, parents, and administrators in making the school environment one in which maximum growth as Catholic citizens may take place.
Follows school curriculum and Wisconsin and Archdiocesan grade level standards.
Maintains punctuality and regular attendance
Maintains accurate and helpful communication with students and parents
Takes steps toward self-improvement
Carries out other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from a four-year College or university
Ability to share and support the philosophy, mission, and goals of the school
Practicing Catholic (preferred)
Ability to show enthusiasm for the teaching profession
Ability to display professional attire, communication, and demeanor
Exhibits creative imagination, resourcefulness, and personal and professional planning
Sensitivity to and an understanding of children and adults of diverse backgrounds
Good organizational skills
Demonstrates a solid command of classroom management using appropriate and effective behavior modification techniques
Accommodates individual students’ needs and learning styles
