Key responsibilities / day-to-day job functions

· Prepare lesson plans aligned with diocesan curriculum standards.

· Ensure instructional delivery reflects a rigorous academic curriculum.

· Regularly assess student performance and maintain updated student records.

· Supervise students at all times throughout the day.

· Communicate with parents about student progress on a regular basis.

Minimum Requirements

• Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks
• Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training within 60 days of hire

· Minimum level of Education: Bachelor’s degree

Years of related work experience: 1-3 years working in an educational setting (or related employment experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

· Have a North Carolina teaching license (or equivalent from another state)

Be able to provide evidence of the ability to:

· build positive relationships with all stakeholders

· set and maintain high expectations for all students

· think and plan strategically
