St. Andrews Retirement Community is Hiring an Environmental Services Director Near Richmond, KY

The Environmental Service Director is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing all aspects of the housekeeping program, while supporting the philosphy, goals and objectives of Telford Terrace.

Job duties include:

  • Oversee and manage the environmental services department, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility
  • Develop and implement cleaning protocols and procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations and industry best practices
  • Coordinate and schedule custodial staff to ensure adequate coverage for all areas of the facility
  • Train and supervise custodial staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to cleaning standards
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to address any environmental service needs or concerns
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in environmental services

Competitive pay and benefit package available. At least two years of housekeeping management related experience. Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations applicable to nursing home facilities preferred.
