Position Summary:

Responsible for the locker room area at The Spa and Salon

Including a warm & welcoming greeting to all members & guests, answering phone calls,

assisting members with questions regarding spa services, serving tea and coffee, replenishing food, and beverage snacks, allocating guest lockers for spa members/guests, escorting guests to the relaxation area for provider service, stocking & maintaining all guest amenities throughout the day, and ensuring cleanliness of locker area at all times.

Qualifications

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous guest service to all members & guests.
• Must be able to initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be multi task oriented.
• Must be able to work well with others and as a team.
• Answer phones promptly and friendly.
• Must be able to work well under pressure.
• Must be attention to detailed oriented as is relative to the cleanliness of the locker room, stocking of lien and guest amenities.
• Refrain from discussing company or personal business with guests or members

Marginal Job Functions:

• Knowledge of all spa treatments salon services.
• Perform other tasks assigned by Operations Manager or Spa Director.
• Participate and attend in all staff meetings.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

Fast paced environment. Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer skills. Must be multi task oriented. Must be detail oriented, friendly, outgoing and have excellent communication. Must be able to tolerate a close-knit environment with constant co-work involvement.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years minimum experience at a country club, hotel or spa setting.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Able to stand for a long period of time (up to average 8-hour shifts)
• Frequent bending, pushing, pilling, and kneeling.
• Frequent walking
• Must be able to sit, stand, crouch, stoop and knell when assisting Members with their needs.

Compensation:

• Salary is commensurate with experience.
