The Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and running of the Intimate Partner Abuse Program.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Intakes all clients that are referred to the program.
  • Makes collateral contacts with all referring parties, i.e., Probation, D.S.S., etc.
  • Coordinates with Partners Contact Coordinator regarding victims.
  • Completes Service Delivery Report and other correspondence with D.P.H., etc.
  • Attends monthly meetings of Fall River Roundtable on Domestic Violence.
  • Attends monthly meetings of Coalition of Intimate Partner Abuse Education Programs.
  • Co-facilitates majority of Intimate Partner Abuse Education Program groups.
  • Attends supervision meetings.
  • Provides administrative supervision to all facilitators.
  • Maintains accounting on group attendance and payments in collaboration with the accounting Department.
  • Other duties as required.

Experience and Skills:

Education & Experience

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree.
  • Intimate Partner Violence Education Program certification provided by Massachusetts Department of Public Health - approved training site.
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Demonstrated understanding/competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word and Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
