We are currently seeking an engine Mechanic for a direct employment opportunity with our client in Eudora, KS.This position offers Medical, Vision, Dental, IRA , Full time hoursCompensation: $25.00 – $33.00 per hour based on experience.Schedule: 8am – 5pm Mon-Fri with additional after hours or weekend work possible to complete equipment repairs for necessary work schedule for crew’s needs.The mechanic will be responsible for the following:

• Repairs and maintains machinery which will include our striping and traffic control equipment, motors, etc.
• Discuss equipment issues, maintenance plans, and perform work.
• Perform routine engine maintenance, such as lubricating parts and replacing spark plugs.
• Some minor repairs on trucks and power equipment. Making sure all our equipment is lubricated, serviced and ready for daily operations.
• Ability to identify and correct potential problems or hazards.

• At least 1-2 years of experience, or trade school experience.
• Analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Communication skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electronic components.
• Teamwork.
• Repair and maintenance of vehicles.
• Focus on safety.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• The ability to operate hand and power tools.
• The ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
