We are currently searching for a Diesel Service Technician for a direct employment opportunity with our client in Glenelg, MD.This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k! Compensation ranges from $30.00 to $35.00 per hour based on experience.In this position, your responsibilities will involve inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles. Key duties include conducting diagnostic tests on vehicles, replacing engine, transmission, steering mechanism, or braking system components, and test-driving vehicles to ensure successful resolution of maintenance issues.Responsibilities: 

• Consult with customers, read work orders, and determine required tasks.
• Plan work procedures, referencing technical charts and manuals.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other vehicle parts.
• Follow checklists to ensure thorough examination of all critical components.
• Interpret diagnostic test results to identify mechanical issues accurately.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Perform basic care and maintenance tasks, such as changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires.
• Conduct test drives to verify smooth vehicle operation.
