We are currently hiring for Baristas to work at .our restuaraunts located inside the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport

At SSP America, our Baristas have the important role of preparing, serving, selling, and stocking delicious food and beverages for our guests.

Here are a few things you can expect when you join our team as a Barista :

Greet customers as they enter

Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients

Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)

Prepare beverages following recipes

Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins

Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)

Keep the bar area clean

Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates

Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs

Comply with health and safety regulations

Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items

The ideal candidate for this position has :

At least 18 years old

One year experience working in food service environment is essential

High school diploma preferred

Verbal and written communication is essential

Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests

Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, etc.

Food handlers permit as required by law

Brand Certification as required

Ability to operate a keyboard & point of sale procedures to pre-check an order & close out a check

Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long period of tim
