SSOE is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Computer Technician 2 to support our clients in the Chandler, AZ area. This will be an onsite position and will require daily commuting to our Chandler, Arizona location. Local applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment. This will be an onsite position and will require daily commuting to our Chandler, Arizona location. Local applicants are encouraged to apply.

  • Under close supervision, performs routine tier-one Helpdesk computer support and responds to user requests. Will assist users in resolving problems through diagnosis and discussion of the particular problem. Will take the necessary steps to recognize the problem, isolate, and resolve the problem. Typically resolves problems of a moderate level of complexity, referring more difficult problems to senior-level personnel.
  • Performs basic workstation and network troubleshooting analysis and problem resolution.
  • Performs basic hardware and software installation.
  • Performs computer and peripheral (printer, A/V, etc.) setup and maintenance.
  • Assists with backup, archiving, and restoration of data and electronic media.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer related field and little or no experience or Associates degree in computer related field with two years of experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems and prevailing office software required.
  • Some experience in computer support or customer service desired.
  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
