Provides a variety of advanced analytical services for organizational leaders to guide management of clinical and fiscal resources. Contributes to key strategic decision making by supply chain, clinical and operational leadership. Assists leadership in creating specialized data extractions and reports that define standardization opportunities, identify waste/over utilization of clinical or fiscal resources and other inefficiencies that impact expenses and resources. Mentors staff and provides ongoing training and support to all departmental staff on data and analytical processes and techniques.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops analytical tools and performance metrics to use in value analysis, RFP documents and discussions. Provides analytical support to assist management in evaluating internal and external benchmarking data including cost, quality, safety, user/patient satisfaction and performance to identify value beyond acquisition costs. Supports leadership in developing tools and reports to define market basket evaluations for potential new affiliates using contracted vendors and through independent research. Establishes processes, tools and applicable mechanisms to track, report and present performance improvement opportunities to leadership. Creates compliance reports to monitor trend data relative to contracting and resource utilization projects assigned. Collaborates in an increasingly complex legal, financial reporting and compliance environment. Coordinates with contract managers to maximize premier incentives and rebates available to the organization through premier contracts. Assists management with coordination of legal and excluded provider reviews per legal and corporate guidelines. Develops tools, reports and presentations to support management in communicating cost reduction ideas and initiatives, including consideration of alternative strategies for implementation. Assists in development of tools, reports and data extractions to monitor compliance with system contracts. Performs other duties as assigned.

Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors. Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. Frequent keyboard use/data entry. Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping. Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. Rare climbing.
