Position Summary:

The Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver will coordinate and participate in the receipt, storage, loading and unloading, delivery, and inventory of materials, supplies, equipment, and mail; ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct; verifying stock and identifying losses; maintaining and organized warehouse layout; and ensuring safe operation of vehicles.

Essential Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities for Warehouse Worker/Delivery Driver:

· Load truck accurately and safely for deliveries to our site locations; unload truck as needed at the warehouse and site locations and pull inventory for future deliveries.

· Operate company vehicle to make deliveries and pick-ups, obeying traffic laws and safety procedures.

· Maintain appropriate licensing, credentials and acceptable driving record.

· Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner at all times.

· Treat internal and external customers and associates with courtesy and respect.

· Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material.

· Maintain clear isles and walkways; ensure warehouse inventory and materials are properly organized.

· Assist in maintaining appearance of warehouse as needed; including cleaning the warehouse, counter area, etc.

· Assist internal and external customers, as needed.

· Continuously update product knowledge.

· Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability

· Participate in ongoing education and training as directed or desired.

· Answer telephones professionally and pleasantly, assisting customers, taking orders and providing excellent customer service.

· Report back orders or discrepancies.

· Perform cycle counts as required following through on discrepancies as

· needed.

· Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required, schedule routine or repair maintenance as needed.

· Maintain presentable truck appearance, cleaning as needed.

· Assist in performance of monthly physical inventories for all site locations.

· Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules. Inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.

· Perform other responsibilities as directed.

Requires the ability to interact with others, interpret spoken messages and utilize reason to resolve complex problems. Requires frequent standing, walking and climbing, and frequent bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, kneeling, being mobile on uneven surfaces, squeezing and crouching. Requires frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
