What You Will Get To Do: Review clients’ financial information (financial statements, trial balances, etc.) and identify and record any necessary book-to-tax adjustments Calculate taxable income and prepare partnership tax allocations for hedge funds, private equity funds, fund-of-funds and other alternative investment funds Prepare federal and state partnership and corporate income tax returns using GoSystems Prepare Schedule K-1’s, Schedule K-1 equivalents, tax estimates and other tax reporting for clients’ investors Prepare international U.S. tax forms (i.e., Form 5471, 8621, 8858, 8865) Calculate federal and state withholding tax payments and prepare related withholding tax forms Research various tax issues and correspond with clients on them Correspond with IRS and state tax authorities What You Will Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required Master’s degree in Taxation or Accounting a plus Experience using GoSystem Tax Solid MS Excel and Adobe knowledge Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to meet deadlines Team player, highly organized, attentive to detail and ability to multi-task Thank you for your interest in SS&C!
