Day in the Life of a Transportation Aide/Driver:

  • Assists in transporting patients/residents as directed.
  • Drives facility vehicles to transport patients/residents to and from appointments
  • Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis
  • Visits patients/residents to establish contact regular with the patient/resident to build relationships.
  • Cooperates and works together with all co-workers,plans, and completes with minimal supervisory direction

Safety, including precautions and safe work practices

Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent
  • Must have a valid clean driver's license 
  • CDL license if required
