S.R. Snodgrass, P.C. is looking for a Senior Associate to join our External Audit/Assurance Services Group. This group primarily works with a variety of financial institutions, including SEC-reporting clients. 

The employee in this role will work with clients primarily in Western and Central Pennsylvania, Ohio, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have two to five years of external audit and public accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial statement audit and assurance services for financial institutions and employee benefit plans, including complete audit work papers through documenting audit tests and findings
• Maintain ongoing communication and keep firm management apprised of fieldwork status
• Accurately prepare a variety of reports for management’s review, using established firm policies and procedures
• Maintain and develop existing client relationships
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Availability to travel to clients (out of town travel is less than 20%)

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, economics, business or related (accounting classes required)
• Two years of audit or assurance related experience
• Must have public accounting experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
