Supply Chain Manager

This position offers an opportunity to join a successful Supply Chain team supporting Insulectro, a dominant supplier in the printed circuit board and printed electronics industry. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Manager will contribute to the success of the team by developing and driving strategic initiatives which enable the team to meet the demand and supply needs of its customers. Major Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Acts in a leadership role (individual contributor and/or manages direct report(s) to drive improved performance in the areas of inventory management and supplier collaboration
  • Key metrics for which this role is accountable: inventory turns, slow moving/obsolete inventory, and supplier performance
  • Supply leadership role in the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process
  • Determines supplier production priorities by reviewing customer orders and requirements and production schedules, analyzing equipment, and employee availability, coordinating schedules with sales, warehousing, and raw materials procurement
  • Leads production planning meetings and discussions by contributing insights and direction that enhance operational efficiencies
  • Implements new tools that improve materials planning efficiency to meet inventory turn objectives
  • Provides senior management information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends and recommending continuous improvement solutions
  • Directs priorities through monitoring materials requirements, managing efficient inventory levels, and analyzing customer demand
  • Maximizes supply chain performance while meeting customer service goals

Skills & Experience Requirements

  • 5 years of supply chain or related experience required
  • 2 years of management experience required
  • 7 years of experience in distribution, inventory management, and materials planning preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Production Management or similar preferred
  • Printed Circuit Board industry knowledge preferred
  • Experience with Oracle a plus
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels in the organization
  • Ability to work in a demanding and dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines
