Description

Job Title: Site Regional Training Specialist

Reports To: The Site Regional Training Specialist will report to the National Training Manager, or equivalent leadership.

Job Overview:

The Site Regional Training Specialist plays a critical role in facilitating and improving the professional development of our employees across the region. This role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating effective training programs to enhance employee skills, performance, and engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designs and delivers engaging training programs tailored to meet the needs of employees at various levels within the organization.
  • Collaborates with departmental leaders to assess training needs and develop customized training solutions.
  • Facilitates a range of training sessions, including onboarding, soft skills development, technical skills enhancement, and leadership training.
  • Utilizes a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.
  • Partners with Operations Managers within the region to conduct training ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
  • Manages the logistics of training programs, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and materials preparation.
  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of training interventions, providing reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of training trends, developments, and best practices.
  • Supports the development and implementation of e-learning modules and other digital training resources.
  • Assists in the management of the regional training budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery of training programs.

Qualifications


  • High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred with a focus in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in training and development, with a proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of people management experience, with demonstrated success in leading teams and developing staff.
  • Strong background in operations and performance management, including experience with training and ongoing performance evaluations.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire participants of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Equal proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certification in training delivery and design (e.g., CPTD, CPLP) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel regionally as required to deliver training and support regional teams.

Physical Demands:

  • Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 40 lbs.
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period of time.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc.).
  • Physically able to talk on the phone and input data simultaneously.
  • Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater frequently.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus and ability to match or may include detection of differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness.

Travel: May be required based on business needs. Approximately up to 25%
