Responsibilities:

• Patient Monitoring: Utilize telemetry equipment to continuously monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and detect any abnormalities or changes promptly.
• Clinical Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosage and adherence to established protocols.
• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and promote positive outcomes.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and necessary lifestyle modifications.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to cardiac emergencies, demonstrating proficiency in ACLS protocols.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and response to interventions in the electronic health record system.
• Quality Improvement: Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of patient care standards and protocols.
• Adherence to Policies: Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, ensuring a safe and compliant patient care environment.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Telemetry Nurse.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

NOTE: Local and Travelers rate applied.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $72.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
