Diesel Mechanics needed for repairs and maintenance on roll off, vacuum trucks and equipment to ensure safe and productive operations.

* Hours: 4:00pm - 4:00am

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Diagnose mechanical problems
• Perform typical repairs on steering systems, hydraulic systems, brake systems, transmissions, electrical systems and engines.
• Read and interpret work orders, communicates with drivers for clarification of problems and discuss preventative techniques with them to minimize future repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• perform vehicle inspections to ensure DOT requirements are met and take corrective measures when required.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Mechanical or trade school certificate
• Industry knowledge and experience performing maintenance and diagnostics on tractor trailer units and diesel equipment
• Airbrake experience
• Able to work evening shifts

Pay depending on experience.
