Sprinkles Donut Shop is Hiring an Experienced Baker Near Hudsonville, MI

Sprinkles donut shop is a rapidly growing commercial bakery with 8 retail locations and a well established wholesale program. We are looking for a reliable person to fill a baker position preparing the best donuts in West Michigan. To be successful in this role, experience is not a requirement but is always a plus. Responsibilities of the baker include the following: mixing and cutting dough, picking up and traying warm fried donuts, filling, decorating, and packaging product. Ultimately, you will make sure we offer fresh and delicious goods to our customers on a daily basis.

Heavy Lifting is required, up to 50#

Must be over the age of 18 to apply

Weekend availability is required

Hours for this position have a typical start time of 2pm-5pm and an end time of 11pm-2am Depending on the day.

Responsibilities

  • Start production
  • Clean kitchen equipment and tools before/after use
  • Weigh and mix dough
  • Tray up warm donuts
  • Monitor fryer
  • Cut donuts
  • Fill and decorate donuts
  • Perform QA
  • Pack and ship

Skills

  • Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef or similar role (optional)
  • Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters
  • Understanding of food safety practices
  • Experience with decoration techniques(optional)
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
  • Flexibility to work overnight and early morning shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
