The ideal candidate for this position will have relevant, working knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70 and backflow systems (certification preferred) with a minimum of two years experience with fire sprinkler systems also preferred. Strong knowledge of fire alarm products, access control and CCTV concepts and products is also preferred.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Installing, servicing, testing, programming and troubleshooting fire alarm systems 
• Conduct testing and inspections of fire alarm systems.
• Make recommendations for both system installation and services.
• Troubleshoot and complete repairs with minimal supervision.
• Maintain safe and secure work environment by following safe practices.
• Maintain records by documenting installation, service, and testing.
• Interacting with clients in the field to ensure the work is being completed properly and timely.
• Able to work unsupervised and highly self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Able to read fire design drawings.
