Springhill Medical Center is a full service hospital serving southwest Alabama. Our surgical services include outpatient, inpatient, open-heart and robotic surgery. The hospital is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment, meaning doctors have advanced technology to help them quickly determine a patient's health problem. Springhill's unique heart center offers state-of-the-art services all under one roof. The campus is also home to primary care physicians, a senior residence, sleep center, cancer center, orthopaedic surgery center, wound care & hyperbaric center, and an emergency department staffed by all board-certified emergency medicine physicians.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

This is a day shift position with no weekends! Springhill Medical Center's Cardiac Rehabilitation is housed on the first floor of the Heart Center. SMC's Heart Center is a 92,000 square-foot building that includes cardiac rehab, cath lab, open heart surgery, and cardiologist offices. State-of-the-art monitoring and exercise equipment are located inside the rehabilitation center. 

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.

Requirements:

• Current RN license required; BSN required 
• 2 years cardiac critical care or telemetry experience required
• ACLS certified
• Physically able to put patients on and off of exercise equipment
• ECG knowledge 
• Excellent knowledge of Cardiac/Pulmonary diagnosis
• Manual blood pressure skills 
• Great communication and time managment skills
