About Springfield Prep Charter School
Springfield Prep Charter School is a public charter school in Springfield, Massachusetts that opened in the 2015-16 school year and serves students in grades K-7 in the 2021-22 school year. We are adding one grade a year until we ultimately serve nearly 500 students in grades K-8. In 2019, Springfield Prep was one of 3 charter schools and one of 63 schools labeled as a Massachusetts School of Recognition for our scholars' excellent academic growth, an accomplishment that gives us great pride. Our scholars and our school are defined by much more than strong academic performance, though. Scholars get a well-rounded education that includes daily music, art, physical education, and recess, and the opportunity to participate in a wide range of field trips, projects, presentations, and performances.
