Summary:
Providesefficient and effective communications service to administrative staff andresidents of The Ohio Masonic Community and Springfield Masonic Community by answering phones and offering assistance to visitors. This position also monitors fire alarm systems,video/audio entry door camera system, resident alert system including pendantand pull system, severe weather warning equipment and other such transmittersor devices and communicates with Security and Department Supervisors andactivate alert systems as directed. Maintains knowledge of campus emergency operation plan's policies andprocedures and complies with all communications aspects during disaster oremergency procedures.
Requirements:
Two-year certificate from college or Technical school; orthree years experience; or equivalent Combination of education and experience.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Proficient in computer applications, including wordprocessing, data base management and spreadsheets.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, a sometimes stressful area,to move from one task to another with multiple interruptions.
Excellent customer service skills is required.
