Springfield Kids Dentist is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Springfield, OR

We are a pediatric dental clinic seeking a dental assistant to join our team of dental professionals dedicated to providing outstanding oral healthcare to the children in our community. We pride ourselves on a positive and welcoming work environment. Dental assistants work chairside with the dentist, in the business office, and in the dental laboratory.

Job Duties:

  • Instrument and operatory infection control
  • Preparation of instrument trays
  • Instructing patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Maintenance of dental practice records and supplies
  • Processing x-rays

· Coronal polishing

· Placing sealants and SDF

· Assist the dentist in restorative treatment and oral surgery

· Assist the dentist in general anesthesia procedures

Requirements:

· Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification

· Pit & Fissure Sealant certification

· CPR certification

· Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required

· Exceptional communication and customer service skills

· Great chairside manner
