Physical Therapist Part Time (.25)SICS seeks a highly qualified part-time Physical Therapist to join its Interdisciplinary team of special education staff. The ideal candidate has a certification in PT and Adapted Physical Education. Please note, SICS is not able to sponsor, now or in the future, for any open position.Responsibilities include:· providing direct therapy to students on caseload· Conducting evaluations chairperson participating in IEP meetings,· Preparation of IEP goals and progress notes· Consultation with parents and staff about issues related to PT in public schools.QualificationsBachelor's degree or higherAppropriate credential/certificate/licenseHighly developed oral and written communication skillsAbility to build relationships effectively and professionally with families and studentsExperience developing and implementing plansPhysical ability to handle frequent sitting, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and moving throughout the schoolProven ability to maintain a safe and secure setting
