The Senior Manager, Finance is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial and operations planning and helps develop strategic financial goals for Springfield Clinic.

Job Relationships

Reports to the Chief Financial Officer

Principal Responsibilities

• Responsible for continuous process improvement and monitoring of key controls within the finance function.
• Guarantee compliance with financial laws and guidelines.
• Develop new processes as appropriate.
• Provide oversight of the financial records for each project/department that facilitates management reports.
• Manages the liaison relationship between departments and accounting to investigate any financial questions/discrepancies.
• Follow Clinic personnel and operational policies and procedures.
• Follow FP&A department policies and procedures.
• Collaborate on system wide financial initiatives and implementations.
• Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
• Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
• Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in financial management.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare finance and general accounting experience required.

Licenses/Certificates

• CPA Preferred
