Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being and health of our animal patients.
Duties:
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose illnesses and injuries
- Develop and implement treatment plans for animals based on their conditions
- Perform surgeries, including spaying and neutering, tumor removals, and orthopedic procedures
- Administer vaccinations and medications to prevent or treat diseases
- Provide dental care, including cleanings and extractions
- Conduct laboratory tests, such as blood work and urinalysis, to aid in diagnosis
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care for animals
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
Skills:
- Proficiency in animal catheterization techniques
- Knowledge of pet grooming practices
- Experience in animal husbandry and welfare
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment
- Expertise in veterinary critical care
- Ability to safely restrain animals during examinations and procedures
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for surgical procedures
- Strong animal handling skills
- Familiarity with kennel management practices
