Spring Oak Senior Living is actively seeking a Groundskeeper for our Bedford, VA location. The Groundskeeper is responsible for keeping the grounds of the community clean and presentable.

Location: 931 Ashland Avenue, Bedford, VA 24523

Schedule: Full time, flexible. Monday-Friday, weekends as needed.

Pay: $18.10 Per Hour, Bi-Weekly Pay cycle

General Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Perform general groundskeeping duties to maintain the appearance and functionality of outdoor spaces.
- Landscape and maintain gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas.
- Use hand tools and power tools to trim, mow, edge, and prune trees, shrubs, and plants.
-Preforms ground maintenance duties, using tractor equipped with attachments, such as mowers, lime or fertilizer spreaders, lawn roller, backhoe bush hog, and snow removal equipment.
- Remove weeds, leaves, and debris from outdoor areas.
- Assist with planting flowers, trees, and other vegetation.
- Maintain walkways, driveways, and parking lots by sweeping and removing trash.
- Monitor and report any issues or damages to outdoor structures or equipment.

Requirements and Job Qualifications:

-Meet all requirements imposed by licensing authorities.

-Must be able to demonstrate both verbal and written communication skills with residents, staff, families, visitors, and other personnel.

-Preforms all other duties assigned by Director of Maintenance and Administrator.
