Position Summary: Assist the Director of Resident Care with the coordination and management of the Nursing program, enabling residents to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity. This position reports to the Director of Resident Care and provides supervision to the caregiver and nursing staff as delegated.
Essential Functions:
Assists in overseeing the delivery of care to residents to ensure that emotional, physical, psychological and safety needs are met through all program services and activities.
Assist in conducting residents’ evaluations according to State regulations and company standards and reports any changes to Supervisor.
Assist in entering resident evaluations into company software system as designated by Director of Resident Care.
Assists in the coordination of care conferences with residents/families.
Assist in coordination of appropriate staff schedules to ensure proper coverage.
Ensures accidents/incident reports are completed per company standards and State regulations, reports discrepancies to Director of Resident Care.
Maintains residents’ confidentiality at all times.
Required Experience & Education:
A valid LPN nursing license in the state of Virginia.
CPR/BLS Certification
An associate degree; and or 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Clinical experience in a Senior Living setting.
Memory Care/ Dementia experience is required for this role.
