Onsite Community Resource Specialist

The Onsite Community Resource Specialist role is a unique and exciting opportunity to provide EAP assistance to one of our large aviation customers . The Onsite Community Resource Specialist program offers a convenient and timely resource for employees to receive immediate connections to community and company sponsored benefits/resources as well as EAP. This role can further serve as a partner to help remove social determinants of health and other related challenges presented by employees. All candidates will be Masters-level Social Workers vetted and interviewed by the customer in conjunction with Spring Health.

What youll be doing: (Key Responsibilities)

Provide on-site support at the customer location: 5 days per week during regular business hours at 2 sites located at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

  • Identify and make referrals for work-life, financial & legal, and basic needs support
  • Link employees to appropriate local and national resources via one-on-one consultation and referral list(s), which may include basic needs (housing, food, transportation, etc.), financial, legal, daily living and other worklife support resources and provide support throughout applications and follow-ups as needed
  • Work with the customers other company sponsored benefits on behalf of those employees in need of emergency funding and resource referrals.
  • Assess qualifications for the various other company sponsored benefits and programs and make referrals to Spring Healths Worklife Services team, as appropriate
  • Offer customers employees consultation related to navigating mental health resources (local and national) and available workplace benefits, such as onsite Mental Health Clinicians, work life articles and guidebooks
  • Assist in actively linking employees to appropriate mental health treatment options (i.e., Spring Health, behavioral health through medical insurance, emergent behavioral health services, and community resources) and provide support throughout applications and follow-ups as needed
  • Case management - Offer wrap around multi-disciplinary approach to all cases; obtain releases as appropriate/needed and create case documentation as needed/appropriate
  • Documentation and Tracking of Metrics/Outcomes to include the following:
  • Reason for Social Work involvement (Resource Need Type)
  • Demographics of employees (as available)
  • Referrals placed (where, when)
  • Success of referrals (connection rate, outcome of referral)
  • Represent Spring Health and help to support/reinforce program parameters and goals
  • Communicate with local points of contact and cascade any needs to Spring Health contacts
  • Submit reporting documentation of all client and organizational activities on a routine and timely basis
  • Attend customer meetings as requested/appropriate
  • Other responsibilities as they pertain to the success of this role

What we expect from you: (Qualification ex. education, experience, etc.)

A masters in Social Work from an accredited university is required

  • Experience working with diverse populations and backgrounds
  • Familiarity with transient populations
  • Depth of knowledge of community resources
  • Knowledge or experience in working with airline employees is a plus
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Acknowledge and embrace diversity and inclusion.
  • Motivated to go above and beyond for members to provide a high-touch experience.
  • Tech-savvy: must be comfortable using various computer platforms and learning new systems and efficient in tech-related tasks.

The target salary for this position is $65,000.00 - $82,500.00 per year . Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
