SPRING GROVE HOSPITAL CENTER is Hiring an Environmental Services Technician Near Catonsville, MD

Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the clients and staff at the hospital.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Completion of the 8th grade.

Experience: None.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Employees appointed to positions in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.

NOTICE: Federal COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement for Certain Maryland Department of Health (MDH) Employees. Per the emergency regulation issued by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) (86 FR 61555), and as permitted to go into effect by the U.S. Supreme Court on January 13, 2022, all staff at the Maryland Department of Health's CMS certified health care facilities are required to receive either a first or single COVID-19 dose and provide proof of their vaccination status by January 29, 2022. If selected for this position, candidates will be required to provide proof of vaccination status or have an approved religious or medical exemption prior to appointment.

Pay: $16.75 - $17.83 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
