Hello, Spring Creek Healthcare Center in Millcreek, UT is actively looking to hire a full-time Line/Prep Cook.

At Spring Creek Healthcare, our goal in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is to provide each patient with top-quality care. We strive to maximize each patient's functional independence to safely discharge her/him to the next level of care.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for ongoing meal production and timely meal service
  • Test new recipes
  • Clean the kitchen; put away/organize food deliveries
  • Assist with kitchen inspections as needed, to ensure the foodservice production area is safe and sanitary.
  • Inspect storage areas on a regular basis for proper temperatures, cleanliness, and order

Requirements:

  • One year of cooking experience in a high-volume environment is preferred
  • Food Handler's Permit required

  • Minimum 18 years of age

  • Willing to provide direction to cook-aides and dish-aides, as needed
  • Possess a great attitude while providing prompt, efficient, and courteous service
  • Passion to learn and grow within the cooking profession
