Spring Creek EyeCare is Hiring a Medical Assistant / Optometric Technician Near Charlottesville, VA

Are you ready for a new adventure in the ever changing world of eye care? Are you looking for a work environment in which to learn new skills? Would you prefer to be part of a small, family-centered business instead of being employed by corporate America? If you answered yes to all three of these questions, then send us a resume because we’d like to hear from you.

Spring Creek EyeCare (Dr. Jaime Easton Optometrist) is actively hiring for a full-time optometric assistant/technician. We are known for and pride ourselves on our emphasis of personalized patient care for all ages. Our mission statement says it all – we are devoted to providing the greatest quality of care, highest level of service, finest products, and utmost respect for our patient's time and needs. An ideal candidate to join our work family is someone who is friendly, is detail oriented, has strong communication skills, is a team player, and is proficient with computers and iPads.

Completion of a high school degree program or GED equivalent is required.

Your typical work day will involve direct patient care. As an optometric assistant/technician, your primary job will be assisting the doctor with patient encounters. You will be responsible for pretesting, history assessment, and basic exam components. In addition, when not in care clinic, you will be required to perform specialized testing (including visual fields or OCTs) or work directly in the training of new contact lens patients. Finally, you will be trained to perform front desk and optical duties as needed around scheduled patients.

This position is 32-36 hours per week (Monday through Thursday) and includes paid holidays, PTO, and medical benefits (if needed). References (both personal and professional) will be requested for all applicants.
